Seaworthiness and Stability

Fishing despite the waves — this is our concept of seaworthiness! To move quickly and comfortably over large waves, it is sufficient to create a narrow hull with a deep V. However, such a boat will be very unstable when stationary, making it uncomfortable for fishing and moving around. If a wide and stable hull with low keel is created, it will lose a significant part of its seaworthiness. Years of experience from Finval designers allow them to find the optimal ratio of length to width, creating boats that are both seaworthy and stable at the same time.

STRENGTH AND DURABILITY

Boat’s durability and long-lasting performance first and foremost rely upon the strength of the structural framework. This is the most complex and most expensive structural feature. Nevertheless, we do not save on what is hidden under the finishing of our boats because we are certain that the time works to our credit. To ensure that our boats are the strongest, we have developed the unique endurance system (Finval Hull Durability).

Safety and Unsinkability.

A truly safe boat in the event of a breach or flooding should stay afloat and not capsize. To ensure unsinkability, all Finval boat hulls are filled with high-quality two-component foam. This foam has a closed-cell structure that prevents water absorption. To keep the boat from capsizing in a semi-flooded state and to make passengers feel safe, flotation blocks are evenly distributed along the boat’s hull and closer to the sides. The foam is sprayed in the bottom area onto a special bed of extruded polystyrene sheets. This material has virtually zero water absorption and protects the foam from contact with moisture. Additionally, this technology provides a 50 mm gap between the bottom and the flotation blocks, necessary for water drainage and internal hull ventilation.
